Is everything free?

All performances in the Sele Park on the Saturday and Sunday of the festival are free to all and no
tickets are required. There may be a charge for fringe events not directly organised by the Festival
committee, and relevant information for these will be provided nearer the time. There will be a
modest charge for the Hoe Down, and this will be ticketed as numbers are limited. More details about the Hoe Down here

Is there food on site?

No, but there is plenty of space to have a picnic, and there are many great places in Hexham within a
few minutes’ walk from the park where you can get food and drink.

How about accessibility?

For the main location at the Sele there is access on tarmacked paths to the main performance areas. Disabled parking bays are available on Beaumont Street. Please refer to the map above for the location of disabled facilities.

Anything else I should bring?

There is some limited seating provided, but you might want to bring a chair or blanket, and be
prepared for whatever the weather brings as all events in the park are open-air.

Is there camping?

Unlike many other bluegrass festivals, Hexham Bluegrass Festival is very much town-based and centered around the Sele Park in the heart of  Hexham. As such so there is no dedicated Festival campsite. If you are coming to camp or stay in a live-in vehicle there are sites within easy reach of the town centre. See either UK Campsites or SearchForSites for more information

Where Can I find Info About Accomodation?

See the  Visit Hexham website.

Will there be sessions?

There will be sessions in some of the local establishments on Staurday and Sunday evening. See the Dates for Your Diary page
